Stephens' Family

Image
A couple of weekends ago John Stephens and his family were in the Chicago land area and since we were going to be up there 'picking up my car' we made plans to meet up with them! We got to meet his beautiful wife, daughter and sister-in-law! They got to meet Cameron! We meet up at the Fogcutter and had a wonderful time eating lunch and getting to know the each others family! So glad that we were able to meet up John! Love you and miss you and hope that you guys have a wonderful time living out in San Diego!

shoes

Hello! To the few that actually read this bloog, and that are parents, what type of shoes would you recommend for a toddler? She started out as a size 3 in Stride Rite shoes, but they are very expensive and if you follow us on Facebook then you know that we have been dealing with car issues and don't have a lot of extra money right now. So let me know of a good brand of shoe you liked for your little one feet that won't cost us an arm and a leg!

Garage Sale

Image
Our neighbors were having a garage sale this past Thursday and they had this cute play gym and I had to have it! I only paid $15 for it and well worth it. The whole time I was talking to my neighbor about it Cameron just played on it the whole time. Now whenever she looks outside and sees it she wants to go out and play even if it is dark outside ;)

Park Time with Connor

Image
There is this really nice park right down the street from where we live and the kids love it! There are two different play equipment one for older kids and one for littles. They also have swings and this alligator or crocodile bouncing thing that they both like! Connor and Cameron really liked climbing up the big kids play set and made both mommies nervous :) Cameron is really trying to be a big girl climbing up the steps with out crawling up them! Coming down the slide! Cameron wanted to go on the swings but Connor didn't. Cameron girl had a good time without him! Love the way she throws her head back in the next couple of pictures! We love playing with the Hamilton's they make our day!

Labor Day Weekend

Image
What a great picture of the Aunties and Cameron! Auntie Christy and Auntie Becky came down for the weekend and spent time with us and Cameron. We really enjoyed our time together and Cameron just loves her Aunties. On Saturday, we went shopping in the morning and Cameron did great! Then we went to the park and Cameron had a blast. It happens to be one of our favorite parks that we have been too and I can't wait to take her to other parks and see if she likes them too! Here are a few pictures of Cameron swinging, she just loved it! Not sure when this was taken over the weekend but it was a sweet moment!

Visit from the Worthington's

Image
Last week the Worthington's were in the state of IL for Richard to do some work. Through Facebook we find out that they are going to be in Springfield, which is only an hour away from where we live in Bloomington! How excited were we to be able to see them and meet their new edition Parker, and they get to finally meet Cameron! Richard, Robin, and Parker were great and drove through a mad thunderstorm to come to us and have dinner at TGI Friday's. It was a great time catching up and being in each others company! Thanks to the Worthington's for making the drive and a wonderful evening! We couldn't believe how much Parker looks exactly like Richard! We couldn't get Cameron to smile at all but at least she is not crying :)

20.4 LBS!

Image
We have been struggling with C-girls weight since she was 12 months old. Cameron is still off the chart, well she isn't on the 3% line just below it, but she is steadily making progress! Looking at the chart below she started slacking off on gaining weight around 9 months. And at 15 mo she was really below the 3% line! Now the doctor is happy with her weight gain and doesn't need to see us again until her 2 year well visit!!! We just have to praise God for his blessings! FYI if you click on the chart it will come up in a different window and you should be able to zoom in on it better to see the plotted points!
