Simpson's Journey

This was Cameron's first bubble bath. The reason why it has taken so long to do bubble baths is because Cameron is famous for trying to drink her bath water! However, tonight she didn't even try! Cameron really enjoyed having a bubble bath and I am sure she can't wait to do it again!

The Birthday Boy! Andrew (Dad) and Ben Meredith Chupp is a wonderful woman I met through my M2M group, we are in the same Care Circle.  Her sweet boy turned one and she had a birthday party for him at Tipton Park.  Tipton has a nice play ground and a spray ground, which was open!  So when Cameron and I got there I let her go and play in the water before it was time to eat. Cameron was freezing by the time lunch was ready but didn't want to sit still long enough to eat.  I did make her eat some but we did have a late breakfast that day and I knew she wasn't going to eat much.  I made Cameron wait for her other friends to go back to the spray ground. Connor got this nifty trampoline for his birthday and Cameron loves to go over there and ask to jump! This one is my favorite of Cameron! We enjoy our friends and having fun with them.  Just found out recently that our neighbors, the Hamilton's, will be moving this summer to Springfield, IL.  Thankfully it is only an hour or so away so that we can still see them once in a while.  Cameron and Connor are only 3 months apart and have been friends since day one!  We, the Simpson's, are sad to see our friends go!

Cameron's aunties Christy, and Becky for Easter weekend and we had a good time.  I wish I had my camera out when the girls arrived because Cameron was so cute looking out the dinning room window and being so excited that the aunties were here! We went to Cameron's first real Easter egg hunt this year.  We actually did a small one here at the house last year but Cameron really didn't understand what to do.  Cameron did well this year once she understood what to do. Every year First Assmebly of God Church in Normal, does an "Eggstravaganza" the Saturday before Easter and the kids do the hunt in age groups, which is what I liked about it. They also do it rain or shine. It had rained a great deal on Friday but really nice on Saturday so the egg hunt was in the parking lot:) We are ready to go!
