Poor Baby

Image
Cameron work up from her nap on 4/18 with a snotty nose. Now, you all should know that Cameron hates, probably loathes, getting her nose cleaned out. Even with a slight temperature (100.8) she was still just as playful and ate well through out the day. I gave her some ice cream after dinner that night and here are some pictures of the event. Now 4/29 Cameron hasn't had a temp since last Tuesday but her nose is still stuffy/snotty at times. Warm baths ( thanks mom) and Baby Vapor Rub (thanks Nan) have helped but how long can this last! I am just thankful that she is still her playful self!

Getting Daddy's Paper

Image
On the weekends we let Daddy sleep in a little and Cameron helps me get the newspaper from outside of our front porch. Here are a few pictures of her with the newspaper.

Outside fun

Many of you know that Cameron is not friends with the grass. However, she has warmed up to it nicely and now will go out into the grass willingly and walk around with out Mommy helping her. I am so proud of her being brave and doing something that she was clearly not fond of. Cameron now sits in it and will pull it up and walks all around it. Cameron also has a converter toy that is a walker and a car that she can ride. She likes both things but does prefer to have it as a car so that she can be pushed on it. Below are pictures of her with her car and in the grass! So proud of you baby girl!

Grass

I felt like I needed to post something since I haven't done so in a while, well it feels like it has been a while. Cameron, as I have said before, is not a grass girl. For the longest time I couldn't even get her to touch it! Now, however, she will touch it and even walk in it with shoes for a very short and I mean short time. Well this evening I was able to get her to walk on the grass from the swing set to the patio BARE FOOT! That's right bare foot! I was so proud of my girl for doing that! I am hoping that she is cured from being scared of the grass. Sorry, no pictures right now I will have to work on keeping my camera on me at all times. I will try to have pictures up of her being in the grass as soon as possible!

Easter Weekend

Image
Auntie Christy decided to come down and spend Easter weekend with us. It was great having some family in during this holiday. Cameron loves playing with Auntie Christy and here are a couple of pictures of her being on Christy. On Saturday we did our first Easter Egg Hunt with Cameron and Aunt Christy. Christy had to leave early Sunday morning and we wanted her to be apart of the hunt so we did it on Saturday. I went out and 'hid' the eggs. I did go in the grass with them to get Cameron out into the yard. Cameron is still afraid of the grass. Oh, she is warming up to it, she will walk in it now, and even touch it but if she falls on it she is UNHAPPY! So here are some pictures of the egg hunt. And, of course, Cameron has no clue on what to do exactly but she did a great job none the less. This is the Easter basket that Cameron got. We gave her an Easter book that talks about the real reason for Easter and that is Jesus, a brown bunny, a wind up chick, and Auntie Christy ...

Playing with her infant carrier

Image
Here are some fun pictures of Cameron playing with her carrier. Yes, she is still in an infant carrier since she is not big enough yet to be turned around. Can't wait for our doctors appointment next month (15 month check up) to see if we can't finally turn her around.

Dad and Cameron

Image
I have the iTouch and love it! I have downloaded several things for Cameron to do since she is curious about everything. I believe her and Dad are playing 'Peekaboo Barn'. It is a fun app that doesn't repeat the animals in the same order twice. Cameron likes it and likes touching the barn to make the animals appear.

Play Date

We are blessed to live in a great neighborhood with tons of children. It is especially nice when we have next door neighbors with kids the same age as each other. This is Conner, our next door neighbor that is 3 months younger than Cameron. It was really neat to be prego at the same time as Kari (mom) and then having our kids only 3 months apart! These are the first pictures we got of the kids together but not the first time that they have been together, I don't always have my camera on me. So enjoy these pictures of soon to be fast friends! Oh and one of them Conner is trying to kiss Cameron can you tell which one?
