Simpson's Journey

This one was taken on our way up to Joe's parents for the weekend. Cameron was not doing too well after a long drive and not really taking a nap and Auntie Chirsty can make the same face :)

Can not believe that our baby girl is already for months old! Can anyone really believe that?! She turned four months back on the 20th...ok I know I am a loser and haven't blogged in a while. I am trying to be better at this. But by the time I put Cameron to bed at night I am tired and just want to try and spend some time with my hubby. Anyway her four month appointment went well! Cameron now weights 12 lbs 10.5 oz and she is 24 inches long! I am so proud of my girl growing like she is! I love how I get a smile from her every morning when I wake her up, love how she recognizes Joe and I from across the room, and just loves that beautiful smile of hers I can't get enough! Lets see what is she doing now....a lot of drooling, grasping with both hands, holding onto books now when we read, puts everything in her mouth, doing alright with naps, goes to bed really well, still hasn't rolled over yet either from her back to tummy nor tummy to back, and still doesn't like tummy ...

I finally got a new camera! Joe got it for my mother's day / birthday gift! I love it! I was just taking some random pictures in the house with it to see how well it worked! this one is adorable with her looking down at her feet! Then we went outside to enjoy the warm weather we were having that day! Enjoy the pics!

I bought this new play mat for tummy time and floor time and it came with this ball with a rattle on the inside as an overhanging toy. Cameron just loves it! She is grasping it with her feet and both of her hands which is amazing to me. Along with the pictures are two short videos of her playing with the ball. Cameron also loves to hold the ball and try to lick/suck on it. She will pull it right to her mouth and go to town.

Just wanted to share!

I needed to vacuum the other day and didn't really want to put Cameron in the Bjorn to do it so I sat her up on the couch. Cameron stayed put really well! She is getting much stronger everyday and loves to sit up! [Just so you all know, this was just when I was in the living room vacuuming not the entire house :) ] Isn't that too cute?!

Enjoy the pictures! I just wish she would look at the camera more:) She will lay on the floor and do this for a long time. Cameron was even doing this in her bed and in her swing. Too cute!

Just wanted to say Happy Mother's day to all the mothers who read my blog! I know that all of you are wonderful mothers and I hope that all of you had a wonderful day like I have had!

My very first Mother's Day! I am very happy that I finally get to celebrate this day! Joe and I have waited a long time to have Cameron and now that she is here it is amazing! I love being her mother and can't wait to see what God has in store for us! The card on the left is from Joe and Cameron and the card on the right is from my mother-in-law who was kind enough to send me the card for my first mother's day! Thanks Mom (Met)! I love you Cameron and Joe! Joe asked me what I wanted to do to start a tradition for this day for me, as far as going out to eat. I picked my favorite chain restaurant Chili's! So every year on Mother's Day we will go to Chili's to have a meal! Too bad we couldn't get Cameron to look at the camera for our family picture.

When Joe gets home from work Cameron is usually down for a nap. But as soon as she gets up or has to be waken Joe gets her and they spend a few minutes together before I feed. This particular time seemed really sweet so I wanted to capture it.

Can't believe how much she has changed in just a few months. Compare the first two pictures of her. 3 month old picture 1 month old picture How amazing is that! Such a big difference! Joe and I are in wonder everyday over this beautiful blessing God has given us! Keep growing baby! Now here are some more pictures of our beautiful Cameron! I just can't get enough of her!
