Simpson's Journey

Last night I was worrying over Cameron's nursing. I have talked to lactation consultants and they all have reassured me that Cameron's nursing times seem to be fine for her. Cameron has been nursing for awhile for about 8 minutes, 4 on each side; but here recently she has been doing about 3min per side. Of course, this has bothered me. I have always struggled with her nursing, even now when she is getting solids along with her nursling's. So last night I was talking to Joe about this and he nicely reminded me that I need to be giving this up to God and letting him take control of the situation, I need to be going to God with my worries and letting Him give me peace about things. It is such a simple thing to do jut talk to God about it but yet, I seem to think that He is not the answer when HE is the answer to all of my troubles! We have been very busy these past few weeks. Joe's parents finally sold their house and are packing up to get things moved into their new beach house in North Carolina. We have had to make a couple of trips up to their house to bring things down for us like a new queen bed (thanks mom and dad) and fire wood. This past weekend was the last weekend the Simpson family was all in that house together. This house has been the place that Joe's parents have stayed the longest in 12 years! Good news is that they are not fully moving to NC yet, Joe's dad still has to work until next June, the bad news is that all the grandparent will be in NC now! On to other news, Cameron had a nasty fall last Monday that resulted in a bruised nose, busted lip and a sore leg. The lip was healed basically the next day, the bruise is finally gone and she is still favoring her leg a little bit but I see an improvement everyday with it. This was our first real big boo boo and she came through it ...

Cameron girl has learned to stand up....ok let me back track a little she has been standing for a while with help from Mommy or Daddy. Cameron will reach for our hands and pull herself up to a standing position but she has never been strong enough to do so with furniture. Well, yesterday I went to check on her during a nap time and she was standing up in her crib!! I am sorry to say that I didn't get a picture of it by the time I ran downstairs, told Joe, and back up the stairs she was sitting in her bed playing. I am hoping to get a picture of that soon! Now all Cameron wants to do is stand! Cameron tried to pull herself up today using our coffee table but she couldn't get a good enough grip because of her height. Cameron is in the big tub now for baths because she was starting to try and stand up in her infant tub...pictures to come, and we are getting things ready for our Thanksgiving trip to NC to visit Joe's grandparents/family in Spindale, NC and my parents/family...
