Simpson's Journey

We made our way down to NC the day after Christmas and we were blessed to be able to see my sister in West Virgina for dinner! But first a little lunch and play time at McDonald's.  We all needed the break from the car!  We made it to West Virgina and dinner in great time and then had a wonderful time with my sister and her family! We haven't been able to see them in years so I am so thankful we were finally able to work this out!  Finally we made it to Winston-Salem and my parents house.  The kids love hanging out with Harmi and Papaw, playing on the piano is always a past time favorite! The kids just love playing with Emo Kim and the dogs! It is always a great time with our family!

 My favorite time of year... CHRISTMAS!  We have a tradition of getting our Christmas Tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving so that we can enjoy it all December. The kids love helping decorate the tree and Cameron loves seeing the ornaments we have kept that she has made! Can't wait until we can put up ornaments that Michael will one day make! Waiting patiently to help decorate the tree.  putting on the ornaments enjoying the tree and Michael loved my Glow Snowman WE love our babes!

Michael has found a liking for dog crates. Whenever he sees one he wants to get into it. Silly boy!

A while ago Cameron received a set of alphabet books by Baby Einstein, and now Micheal is really into them.  Michael seems to have his favorites but will have me read all 26 books at any point of time!  I love that like me and his sister, he has found a love for books!

 I don't know any kid who doesn't like to play in a pile of leaves. It's raking time here and Cameron with her neighbor friends wanted to help rake.   Then, of course, having to play in the pile of raked leaves :)  Michael has had the most time to play in the leaves since he is not in school like the rest of our friends and had loved it just like everyone else!

I just love spending one on one time with this beautiful girl! We have so much fun! We do a reading program through our library every summer and we get all sorts of free things as rewards. One of the free things was a mini manicure from the school of cosmetology here in town.

We started going to Rader Family Farms when Cameron was 2 and have gone back every year since. We love it and they add new things to do every year.  This was technically Michael's second time going but his first being able to actually play and interact with all of the fun things there.  We started off on the hay bales. Then this was new with the big pipes called the Rat Race.  Another new item the Spider Web.  The farm has a Caterpillar ride and at first we thought Michael could do it by himself but in the end had him sit with Cameron.  a huge slide Corn silos! Can't go with out a selfie of us!
