Simpson's Journey

We gave Cameron a small part of our DVD shelf for her books. Cameron loves to go to it and pull out books and ask us to read them to her. Cameron will even pick out the exact book she wants to read. I love that she loves to read books just like her Mommy!

Notice Flair is drinking his water in peace. Now he is not alone. Cameron loves it when Flair is drinking his water. She will giggle and squeal! Silly Girl!

Cameron is too funny, she loves pushing this learning table around. Walking all over the place! She can't walk by herself yet but Joe and I think that she is really close!

What do you mean I can't go up stairs? Well fine then, now how does this thing unlock? LET ME THROUGH!!

I got this idea from my friend Laura's blog . It was getting some snow in a bowl for her kids to play with and I thought what a great idea for Cameron, who is not quite big enough for me to let "play" in the snow. So first, we went outside and watched it snow for a few minutes and I piqued her interest. Then, I got a bowl and brought some snow in for Cameron to play with. Her reactions are cute! This is where her expression is priceless! Mom this is really cold! Mmmm..what do I do with it now? Ok I can touch it. Now, lets see what it taste like.... Interesting.. Let's just put it back into the bowl. OK I have decided that I don't like it! After this picture Cameron signed "all done" and didn't want to touch it anymore! PRICELESS!

Joe and I have chosen not to do dinners out without Cameron because she is such a great girl when we are out and about. But for our 9 year anniversary that was different. We wanted to have dinner just the two of us, so Joe's sister Becky came down to babysit while we went to dinner. Thank you so much Auntie Becky for taking time out of your weekend to come down and watch Cameron for us I know that she had a wonderful time with you! Joe and I before we went to dinner. Cameron decided to crawl away when I was done changing her diaper but not finished getting her pants back on. It is something that I don't fight and I did get her pants back on her but not before she crawled away and climbed the stairs! Here is the video of her climbing the stairs.

Cameron and I have a lot of time together due to the fact that Joe works 10 hour days. I just happen to have my camera with me during this play time and decided to take a few pictures. Cameron had pulled her sock off and put it on Flairs head so of course I had to get that picture! Now just some pictures of my girl! Finally one of me and my girl!

Cameron is learning so much everyday and this day she would empty the links from their container and then go around and pick them up and put them back inside. Such a smarty!

So we have stayed away from red meat until Cameron turned one and we finally introduced it to her not to long ago in a form of a very tiny hamburger patty. Well she didn't seem to like it. Cameron was great and kept trying it but definitely didn't like it. The second picture says it all! And the only reason her eyes are closed in the last picture is because of the flash.

Cameron loves to stand outside her toy box and take as many toys out as possible and the one she can't reach she will look at me and "talk" as if to say "Mom, I need help" and I will say "Do you need help?" and she will sign 'please'. Anyway I decided that instead of her taking things out I would just put her in and she was in there for a while and didn't mind and enjoyed playing in her toy box!
