Michael Walking

Image
Our boy is only will be 11 months next week and he is already walking! Not all the time but each day he has more confidence and tries longer distances! WE are so proud of you Michael!

Look I can climb the stairs!

Michael has become very efficient at climbing the stairs. If we don't keep the gate at the bottom of the stairs in the living room he will climb them without hesitation.

More Walking Videos

For those of you who don't have facebook accounts here are a couple of videos of Cameron walking. I posted a couple on Facebook so if you have an account and haven't seen them go to my page ( a link is on the left hand side of this page) and see the videos! c

Walking to Mom

Finally what you all have been waiting for a very short clip of Cameron walking. She is still in the 'testing' phase she is not doing it consistently but I am sure that is coming sooner than we think! Enjoy the short clip!

Cameron and the stairs

Image
Cameron decided to crawl away when I was done changing her diaper but not finished getting her pants back on. It is something that I don't fight and I did get her pants back on her but not before she crawled away and climbed the stairs! Here is the video of her climbing the stairs.

Crawling

Image
Cameron has been crawling since we got back from NC/Thanksgiving trip. I have had this video since and I am sorry that I haven't posted it before. Actually I tried and it failed, but I am glad that it worked. This is when Cameron is finding her rythem with the crawling so she is slow. Cameron is actually going to Flair's dish while he is eating and wanting to play with his food. Cameron is now Speedy Gonzalas with the crawling and can get anywhere she wants. Sometimes she is crawling so fast that she falls on her face because her arms can't keep up with the pace she really wants to go. She will usually giggle and keep going. Cameron is walking around using furniture, and mommy or daddy's hands to help her. Cameron enjoys walking but understands that she can get somewhere faster by crawling. Cameron can transition from the coffee table to the couch with no problems. I leave you guys with a cute picture of Cameron under her exersaucer playing with a Einstein Video s...

10 months old

Image
Baby girl is 10 months old and wasn't she just a little newborn yesterday? It is amazing how big she has become and how much personality she already has! Cameron may not be big for weight purposes but she is a very healthy girl! We went back to the doctor on Monday and she has gained but not much, Cameron now weights 15lb 3oz. Our doctor is worried about her lack of weight gain and is contemplating a work up to see if there is anything medically wrong with her. He did tell me that he is baffled by Cameron because she is otherwise a very healthy, and happy baby. We go back at the one year mark and hopefully she will have gained enough in two months so that we don't have to do anything extra. What is Cameron girl up to these days....well she is CRAWLING!!! Cameron started the act of crawling before we left to go to NC and when we got home Sunday she decided that it was time to crawl. Cameron is not a pro yet but she is working on it and does try very hard. Cameron eats well, ...

Rollin'

Image
Cameron loves to roll, but she tends to get stuck against the walls. It really is too cute to watch her just roll over and over right in the same spot until she gets upset. This was the first time she was on the kitchen floor. I didn't want to stop her but the floor was dirty. So I prayed that she didn't get a notion to lick the floor, thank goodness she didn't! We call her our rollie pollie and as long as there is nothing in her way she will continue to roll!

Dr. Appt. and our Rollie Pollie

Image
Cameron had her 6 month appointment today. Cameron hasn't grown too much but the doctor seems satisfied with her progress. Cameron is currently 25 inches long, weights 13lbs 11oz, and her head circumference is 15 1/2 inches. At 4 months she was 24 in long, weighed 12lb 10oz and her head was 15 in; but hey, at least she is growing right? We talked about us starting her on solids and our doctor said that it would be alright to go ahead with veggies due to her age. The only thing that I forgot to ask is if and when we can start water and or juice. Cameron also received three shots today and was a champ, she cried very little and as soon as the shots were over with and I picked her up she was finished crying! My brave little girl. Now onto our Rollie Pollie! I did a blog the other day about her rolling over from her tummy to her back, which she started on July 9th. Well I left her on the floor on her back and went to let Flair out, to get something to drink, and get her a teething r...

Rolling over!

Yea!!! Our baby girl can finally roll over! Cameron did it for the first time a while back but it must have been a fluke because she didn't do it again until this past Thursday (7-9) at the beach and then at Harmi and Papaw's she became more consistant and now we can't keep her on her tummy! We are so proud of you Cameron girl! Now lets work on rolling from our back to our tummy! The first video is her on Harmi and Papaw's bed rolling over and the second is at our house after we came back from the beach! We love you so much Cameron girl!
