Cameron's Birthday Party!

Image
There is the birthday girl! I can't believe my baby is 3!!! We had her 3 year appointment and she is in the 6th % for weight at 26 pounds and 15th % for height at 2feet 11 and 1/2 inches tall. Cameron's doctor had no concerns and says she is developing fine. Onto the birthday party pictures! First off the cupcakes and singing happy birthday! Then, blowing out the candles and after the kids finished eating we opened presents. A couple of shots of the kids playing. I only wished I got a group picture of all of the kids.

Play date with Sarah

We love having neighbors that we can just play with during the day. We don't have to drive anywhere or do anything special. Cameron and Sarah are still at the age were they don't necessarily play "together" but Andi and I try to get them too! We have done this more than once but this is the first time I brought my camera and captured a few pictures!

Crazy Illinois Weather!

Image
It snowed on the 3rd of this month and Cameron and I were excited because this was the first measurable snow, only 1/2 inch, this winter season! And as you can see from the pictures already melting because of the 40 degree weather we had right after it snowed. People tease up here because we haven't had a particularly snowy winter yet. Also, the temps have not been average like on this day were it was 50 and Cameron and I were able to play outside in Janurary! My big girl who couldn't reach these black rings back in October can now on her tip toes do it! And then a few more days later we get about 3-5 inches of snow! Later on that afternoon I needed to shovel so I let Cameron and the two children I keep after school play in the snow for a bit! And then the temp went up to about 40 again and it was really sunny and now the snow is gone again! Oh well we hope we get lots more to play in!

Back in Illinois

Image
We flew back in to Chicago Friday evening after Christmas and then had to get dinner and go to the store at Auntie Becky's. So Cameron didn't get to go to bed until 9:30 and I didn't even get to finish reading the first book before she was completely out! Poor thing! On Saturday, New Year's Eve, we traveled back to Bloomington and had a nice quiet time at home. Cameron got her last Christmas present from Joe and I and it is a kitchen, which she still calls her "New Kitchen"!

Christmas in Winston

Image
Christmas at Harmi and Pawpa's was lots of fun! We got to Winston the day after Christmas and stayed through to Thursday. So we began with opening presents! Moon Doh, Butterfly Pillow Pet, and books for Cameron! Cameron loves them all! Of course, while we were there we played in her tent more with Daddy! Then we went and visited my Grandma, Cameron's great Grandma. We finished out our time there playing UNO and had a great time laughing and playing! We love playing games and being together as a family!

Christmas Morning

Image
Christmas morning and Cameron is patiently waiting for everyone to get up and get ready to open presents. Love how she chose a book to read while waiting :) The Christmas tree and all the stockings! It is a Santa Hat with Yoda Ears! Now onto the presents! I only have pictures of Cameron but she is the most important anyway right?:) Cameron playing with some of her gifts! Molly wanted to see what the fuss was about with the tent. others joined in on the fun too! What a fun Christmas day with the Simpson clan!

Christmas Eve

Image
On Christmas Eve we just stayed in at Grandma and Gramp's and had a nice quiet day. Grandma had a nice train set up upstairs and Cameron loved to watch it go round and round! Her Cameron is with Auntie Christy watching the train. Molly, Grandma and Gramps dog is trying to play with Cameron while she was watching a bit of tv. Cameron loves Molly! Watching Frosty and then Rudolph, traditions in our family on Christmas Eve. Daddy reading the story of Jesus through my bible app before bed. Another tradition we started this year! Love that Joe and I have these traditions to share with our child as a family!
