Simpson's Journey

Now we are in Shallotte to spend the rest of our Christmas vacation with Grandma, Gramps, Uncle Kenny, Great Nana, and even the aunties for one day! Kids get to open up their gifts from the family and then just spending some great time with them!

Summer vacation down in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina! There is nothing like it for us! We love that we get to spend the time relaxing and having fun with the grandparents. Pepper and Shelly Grandma and Gramps dogs attacking the kids when we got there! A little pool time on the deck. Pepper snuggling up with Cameron. BEACH! This sums it up nicely! Cameron and Michael both did exactly what they wanted! Can never go on vacation with out playing some mini golf! Joe and I got to go on a date while the kids stayed with Grandma and Gramps. Our last night there and Chianti is a favorite place to dine! Our last stop before home was seeing Joe's Great Nana, Great Papaw, Uncle Kenny, Aunt Cathy and cousin Hayley. We love our vacation time so much!

We love being able to spend time with our extended family whenever possible. This came on the first weekend of June along with the golf outing that Joe and his parents play in. Some time with Gramps Yum Japanese! Mini Golf Riding in the back with my babes!

Grandma and Gramps wanted to come up and visit with us 'kids' and they centered it around Family Night at Cameron's school. Cameron couldn't have been happier with Grandma and Gramp's coming to her school and telling them all about her day! Michael enjoying Gramp's company Walking hand in hand! Then on Friday it was off to Chicago land to see the Aunties and have fun with the family together! Friday night its the Backyard Steak Pit to see old friends, and then on Saturday we went to a fall festival that had different characters, a mini golf area, petting zoo, train ride and much more. Then to top off our weekend our favorite Japanese Steak House! What a great weekend with our family!

We had a very busy weekend the first weekend of June. Joe's parents came in on Thursday night and then on Friday we all drove up to the Chicago area to spend the weekend with Joe's sisters and friends for the weekend. Cameron was a trooper especially when we were eating out for lunch and dinner the entire weekend. It was a lot of fun hanging out with our family. We had good conversations, great food and fun! We played Miniature Golf on Saturday and we all had a blast!  Cameron had a good time playing as it was her first.  A picture with Uncle Mike at Tsukasa of Toyko-Japaness restaurant.  With the Aunties outside of Wildfire.
