Simpson's Journey

No pictures of us being sick....it was not pretty! Cameron got sick around 11:30pm last Thursday and continued vomiting around 2-3 times an hour until 5am! Poor thing would be asleep on me then wake up enough to vomit and then fall right back out again! Needless to say that mommy didn't get that much sleep Thursday night! Friday was alright, lots of snuggles and a couple of hour naps with mom. Some vomiting but diarrhea! Cameron went to bed and slept all night but woke up around 7 to another vomit. Thankfully she wasn't sick like that anymore on Saturday but I was! I had it too! Thankfully Joe was still not sick and able to do things for Cameron and I while we slept off and on all day. Side note~didn't know Cameron could sleep like that:) Cameron went to be Saturday night at the normal time, even with all the sleep she got during the day and woke up perfectly! Cameron still didn't want to eat much at all Sunday but she did eat some! I was better but Joe got si...

It had been a while since we were able to play with our neighbors and Cameron and Connor wasted no time and started playing right away! Cameron and Connor do love to hug, what a cute shot of those two cuties!

A couple of friends from our Mom2Mom group and us went to an open gym at Gymnastics Ect. last week. The girls had a great time and the moms did too! It was nice getting out of the house and having a good time with some awesome ladies! First up the balance beams! Cameron really enjoyed this wedge thing. They had three different trampolines there and Cameron liked them all! Here is one of all the girls! Breely, Caty and Cameron! Soon to be life long friends!

That is what we saw Tuesday of this week. Yes, SNOW! But it was just a dusting and it was very pretty! Today though, Friday 12/3, we are getting accumulating snow! We are suppose to get around 3 to 4 inches. And right now, 8:19 pm central time, we have roughly 2 inches of snow! LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!

Auntie Christy came in on Tuesday night via the train and Cameron was very excited to see her Wednesday morning when she woke up! We decided to take some random pictures with Cameron girl! I really wanted to get some good pictures of Cameron and the family but she doesn't always want to cooperate with me and the camera. Some of these are good though! Thanksgiving was great! So thankful for the Simpson clan and even though my side of the family couldn't be there we are very thankful for the Lefevre's as well! LOVE TO ALL OF OUR FAMILIES!!!

In two months Cameron girl will be 2 years old! Step back and take a deep breath! Can't believe that she will be two years old that soon! Just seemed like it was yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital and now look at her! Her hair is getting so long and is still pretty blonde. Cameron is getting so big and trying to be so independent. For example this has been Cameron's high chair since she was born. It is really nice and tilts so that you can have a baby sit in it and it can then be in a upright position for eating, and it has a tray. Well with the arms of this chair, even though they move down, it doesn't fit under our table. And about a couple of weeks ago Cameron was determined to eat from the table and not from her tray. So for about a week we put her in her Bumbo seat and got her to the table. Here she is having a pudding cup for a snack on afternoon. So Joe and I didn't like that we couldn't strap down the Bumbo seat and decided to buy a ...

Although Cameron was still getting over being sick and refused to put on her bee outfit, she really liked helping giving out candy:) Oh and trying to get some for herself ;)

Can't believe our Cameron girl is 21 months old! October was a crazy month! The first weekend we were in NC visiting Joe's parents, the second weekend home, third weekend I was in Asheville, NC with some amazing women, the forth weekend Joe went to Las Vegas for a IBM conference, and finally the last weekend Halloween! In there back on the 20th Cameron turned 21 months! Can't believe in just a little over two months she will be 2 years old! Where has the time gone? I know the other mom's who read my blog totally understand! On the 23rd of October Joe, I and Cameron were raking leaves...well Joe and I were and Cameron was playing in them! The very next day Cameron woke up with a crusty nose and watery eye. So we thought, ok allergies, but then a week later she is having small fevers, and coughing we went to the doctor and she has the beginnings of an ear infection. We just got over an ear infection back in August! Oh well, Cameron is now on antibiotics and is on th...
