Simpson's Journey

 I just love summer time! Being able to spend time with friends, playing at parks, pools, and outside. Things are always more fun with friends!  A friend of mine from high school was visiting family in the area, and was able to come over and hang out for an afternoon of water balloons and being able to swim at a neighbors house pool. It was so good to catch up and spend time with Rebecca!  One evening our neighbor had a movie night and Cameron was able to go and have a great time!  Just love spending time with this beautiful lady! Kristi and I meet through my moms group and our kids play so well together! We were able to go to State Farm Pool with them and meeting for slushies at Sonic!  Meeting friends at the library is another past time favorite.  This year we decided to go to a craft festival in uptown Normal. We have a pretty nice neighborhood park and the kids love going to it.  On this day we went with our neighbors and had a nice time! Love these kids!

We love summer and love playing at parks! Especially parks that have splash pads too! This was Michael's first time being at one and I didn't have the kids swim suits but that didn't stop them from having a great time! We met a preschool friend of Cameron's at Tipton, Logan and his mom and sister, and had a great time playing in the water and on the play equipment!

It was a nice sunny Sunday afternoon and we walked to our neighborhood park! Perfect day for swinging and playing!

We have had several days of really nice weather with the snow melting and warmer temperatures we have been able to get outside a bit. Cameron and Michael have loved it! Cameron has always loved going outside and I am glad that Michael loves it too! Michael squeals as soon as his feet hit the garage floor and if he could run he would! I am posting a few pictures from each day we were outside. These two are from Michael's very first time of being able to walk around outside! The next ones is where the snow is starting to melt. Then  more melting and playing in the water. Finally, a walk to our neighborhood park to play! I didn't get too many pictures because I was playing too:) We can't wait for consistent warmer days and more outside play!
