Simpson's Journey

Michael did so well with his first appointment! I was amazed by him. Cameron had her teeth cleaned right before Michael and I think that helped! Our hygienist is super sweet and gentle, and our dentist is very nice!

Michael turned 18 months on September 15, and we couldn't be any more blessed with this growing, happy, healthy, crazy, all over the place, boy! Michael is super fast and keeps mom on her toes! Michael loves to climb on everything! He can get up the stairs super quick, and Michael also has a fondness for going into Mom and Dad's bathroom and get onto the counter! Michael is down to one 2 hour nap a day, and sleeps around 10-11 hours at night.  Michael tries very hard to use utensils when eating, loves his big sister so much, and loves torturing Flair. Michael is 33.5 inches long, and weights 22.4 pounds he is lean and tall! Some words Michael knows are Dada, Ma, and I think that he said Cat and can say bubbles.  Michael also can do some animal sounds; cow, sheep, lion and cat.  going to bus stop waiting for sister after school He gets the biggest smile when he sees the bus coming! oh Michael how we love you so! This was is the first time we realized that Cameron had a loose tooth! It was on 3-19-14. A bit looser!  On 4-2-14 On 4-18 Finally out! Really loose on 4-20 We can't believe she has lost her first tooth! Where has the time gone she is becoming such a big girl!

How time flies! We can't believe it has been a year already! We have enjoyed these past 12 months with our little man. Michael keeps us on our toes, he is all boy and we couldn't be happier! Michael is into everything, we are constantly telling him no for one thing or another. When Michael is outside he loves to play in the dirt, pick up sticks, play with rocks and run around! At Michael's 1 year doctor appointment he weights 19.2 lbs, and is 29 inches long. We are done nursing during the day but still waking at night to nurse at least 2 times.

We couldn't be happier with our little man! We just love the excitement and entertainment Michael brings into our lives everyday! This past month has led to Michael standing up without too much support, and he has started walking! At the 11 month mark Michael is not proficient but he is very determined to walk like his sister! Michael still eats whatever we give him! There are times that he does refuse but not often. Some of his new foods are meatballs, mashed potatoes and pulled pork!  Michael is in 12 month clothes with still a couple of 9 month pants because of length.  When Michael is teething it is nuts! He is so snotty and uncomfortable, which is new for us because whenever Cameron was teething it wasn't a big deal and most of the time we didn't even notice until a new tooth came in. So lots of late night snuggles and Tylenol have helped! Michael nurses 4 times during the day and still nurses around 2 -3 times at night. Praying that will change soo...

Joe and I are speechless we have a 5 year old! It has been an amazing 5 years with our beautiful, energetic, and loving girl! We celebrated her birthday this year by having a Chuck E Cheese party and it was nice having it there and the kids had a blast.  This was done the Saturday before her birthday and it was snowy and snowing, but so glad that everyone came out to celebrate with us! On Cameron's birthday we went and had lunch with Joe (a tradition) and then just had a cupcake and sang after dinner. Cameron's doctor appointment went well she had to have some shots which she took like a champ! Cameron weights 33.5 pounds and is 41.5 inches tall.  Still a bit small but at least she is still on the charts! WE love you so much Cameron and can't wait to see what this next year holds for you!
