Simpson's Journey

We had three Christmas this year starting with the one at Harmi and Papaw's house! Cameron wanted to get to the presents and Michael just wanted the wrapping paper! Trying to get Michael to smile can be so hard right now! But love that I got pictures of the kids with their grandparents and Emo Kim. Next onto Spindale where our cousin Hayley graduated from college and we did Christmas with Joe's extended family. Having fun with Uncle Rick Hanging out with Bruce Time for presents! And again Cameron is about the actual gifts and Michael just wants the paper! See a theme yet?  Final Christmas is here at our own home this year! Joe's parents flew in from NC and his sisters came down from Chicago. The gifts and the running theme! This year Cameron's class put on a small play of the Nativity. All the kids did a great job! I love that she is learning that Jesus is why we have Christmas just like we are teaching her at home! Cameron was very excited about saying her line and that she was an angel! We love you Cameron! Cameron with her teacher, Mrs. Shouse

One of the many night time routines we have is Daddy and the kids playing on the floor! Michael loves getting involved especially when Daddy is 'getting' Cameron! Michael screams and crawls straight to them and gets right in the mix! We all love playing and laughing together as a family!

We love it when it snows! Cameron loves to play and make snow angels and swinging in her swing! I love these times with her!

Michael has become very efficient at climbing the stairs. If we don't keep the gate at the bottom of the stairs in the living room he will climb them without hesitation. 

Michael is growing, growing, growing! At his doctor appointment Michael weighted 17.5 lbs and was 28 inches long! Michael is still eating everything we allow him to eat and will sometimes get mad if he can't feed himself.  Michael at 9 months still only has 6 teeth 2 on top and 4 on bottom. Michael is moving everywhere by crawling, he can use just about anything to stand up with and he is starting to slowly walk using the furniture.  We love you buddy!

CHRISTMAS is here! I think I got some really good pictures of the kids and the tree and one of them together which took FOREVER! I love this time of year! I love the joy on Cameron's face when we pulled out the decorations!  I love watching Michael explore and learn about why we celebrate Christmas!

He is so darn cute! Michael likes to take his socks off in the car and pull himself up on anything he can!
