16 Months and Growing

Image
As most of you know Cameron was only 17 lbs at 15 months old and she only gained 8 oz from the time she was 12 months to 15 months. We had a recheck on her weight today and she has gained a full pound since the last visit! Yes, that is a pound in four weeks! I can't even believe that Cameron gained a pound since she has been starting to not eat well at least for one meal a day. Joe was a real encourager for me to get through this time of weight gain with Cameron. I had to change the way I was doing her food, for instance instead of giving her all natural apple sauce with no sugar added to just regular apple sauce. Did you guys know the the all natural stuff has 50 calories and the regular has 100! We are very happy that Cameron has gained this weight and the doctor seemed very pleased as well! Just some updates on Cameron, she still loves her blanket! Cameron being silly! Cameron playing peek a boo with the curtain! Cameron staring at the washing machine. She has fou...

The Swing

Image
Cameron still loves to swing and she loves to swing HIGH! Cameron also likes it when I swing beside her too. She just giggles and smiles really big. Of course, there are no pictures of us swinging together because Joe is usually at work when we go outside to swing. Oh well! Here is Cameron playing with the swing that I sometimes swing in.

Bubbles

Cameron and Connor like playing with bubbles. Cameron is cute and will chase around and try to catch them. I am sure Connor would too if he could walk at the time these pictures were taken.

Hair Cut

Image
We went to a kids hair cut place last weekend to get her hair cut but she didn't like it right away and we ended up only getting her bangs, sides and back trimmed. Here we are before the lady started. Cameron didn't want to sit in the cool car chair and immediately started crying. She is still crying but at least her bangs are not in her eyes. Which now brings us to today.....Cameron has been pulling her hair out!Cameron started really doing this when Joe had to go to Dallas for a week and she didn't get to see him. She continued to pull her hair out whenever she is frustrated or upset. Cameron doesn't cry when she pulls her hair she is very quiet about it and doesn't seem to bother her. Cameron gave herself a nice bald spot on her right side of her head. Joe finally convinced me that cutting her hair all together was a start to her stopping pulling her hair out. Here we are in Cameron's bathroom cutting her hair. Cameron did cry but not hysterical like at the h...

Our Friends

Image
Cameron and Connor really enjoy their time together. The picture above is one of the only time that they were actually playing together. For the most part they do their own things. Cameron does perk up in the afternoons when I ask her if she wants to go for a walk with Mrs. Kari and Connor. Below is a picture of our kids pushing their strollers. Cameron was doing it one day and Connor thought it was fun so he decided to join in! Too bad you can't see Connor he is behind his stroller. The kids were being cute looking through the porch railing but before I could get the picture taken Cameron had already lost interest and moved on to something different to do. But I am glad that I got this one with Connor! Walking Buddies!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
