Aruba Fun Jeep Tour

Image
We went on a fabulous Jeep tour of the island. We literally went from one end to the other. It was a wonderful expereince we were able to see some ruins, an ostrich farm, and a different beach with snorkeling. Cameron really enjoyed the off reading we did as well! I was able to sit in the front with Michael so we didn't feel the bumps and jerks and what not completely but still some and Michael was amazing! Michael spent most of that day in the Bjorn and never complained once. We all had a wonderful time!

ARUBA!

What a wonderful vacation! This is the rental house we stayed in complete with private pool! We were in the pool everyday! Cameron and Grandma most of the time were in it by 10 in the morning :) and of course the beach! Michael did wonderful and slept on the beach when he was tired! More Aruba post to come!

Michael is 4 months old!

I have said this every time but we truly can't believe that Michael is already 4 months old! Michael is growing like a weed! At his 4 month doctor appointment Michael was 13lbs and 24in long. Michael is still on a 3 hour eating schedule with 8 feedings in a 24 hour period. Even though we have seen some improvement with going longer at night just this week! Thankfully Michael is only waking to eat and then goes right back to sleep. Michael is still taking 4 naps a day and follows the eat, wake, sleep pattern. He loves "talking" and playing with his feet. Michael also enjoys watching us eat and if we let him would probably be eating solids by now. His smile is infectious and his giggles are adorable! Michael likes to suck his thumb but uses a pacifier briefly for naps and bed. Michael smiles at all of us and loves to grab a hold of Flair! Michael is also strong! He likes to stand and sit up with support. While he is standing he also tries to move is legs like walking. M...

July 4th

Image
Joe and I have lived in Illinois now for 8 years and we have never been here for the 4th of July until this year.  We usually go on vacation during that week but this year we went on vacation earlier (post to come). We decided to have our neighbors over and grill out, the kids can play, and watch fire works.  The nice thing about where we live is that there is a nice park about 1 mile from us and they have a fireworks display on July 4th and we don't have to even leave our street to see them! It was nice to be able to Michael to bed and then hang outside with friends and let Cameron see the fireworks! (Her first time only because she hasn't been able to stay up late enough to see them in the past)  Swinging Girls! Love our boys! Only one month apart! Dinner time! Friends! Sparklers! Fireworks!

Michael having fun!

When we are playing outside sometimes I put Michael in his bouncer, or get a blanket and lay him down.  I have just recently starting using the Bumbo and he likes it for a while, but he likes it outside because he can grasp the grass! I have also recently started using our exersaucer with Michael and he is definitely interested in it.  Especially what he can put in his mouth!
