Simpson's Journey

So none of the pictures I got were great but we all had a great time walking around our neighborhood getting lots of treats and seeing friends in their costumes. Walked farther than ever and I can't wait until next Halloween to see if we can actually make it around our neighborhood loop!

Every once in a while Joe has to go on business trips and the welcome home he receives from the kids is precious!

This Halloween for our pumpkin I saw online to poke holes all over the pumpkin. The kids loved being able to hammer in golf tees into our pumpkin for our 'Jack-o-lantern' this year! I think our finished pumpkin turned out great!

Our public library put on a Principals night where principals from the different schools would come and read their favorite stories. Cameron loved listening to her principal read and seeing lots of her school friends!

Michael loves to hold my hand. Just sitting on the couch watching tv, walking, or doing whatever if he can be holding my hand he does!  LOVE!

One of Cameron's school friends had their birthday party at a local bowling ally and Michael got to join in on the fun too! Fun was had by all and Cameron loves bowling!

Michael loves to help me clean, and today he wanted to help vacuum.  The vacuum weights twice what he does and he isn't quite tall enough, but he still tried to do it by himself! This was the only decent picture I have but it sure is cute!

I love being able to get away for a weekend to spend time with my best girls in NC!  First its a stop in TN to visit with my girl Kelly.  After TN off to Asheville, NC to meet up with the rest of my girls for a wonderful weekend! We go to Mellow Mushroom for dinner on Friday and its is one of my favorite pizza places.  On Saturday we try to find a new place to hike and fun things to do. We went to DuPont State Forest and saw some beautiful waterfalls!   A fancy chocolate place that we got to tour the factory!  The other place we always go to is the Farmers Market and buy delicious apples! It is always fun getting to hang out with my girls and having time to recharge and then come back ready to be mom to our beautiful children. Thanks to Joe for holding down the fort!

We always go to the farm in the fall as a family. It's our "Fall Day" and the last two years it has been really cold! Thankfully we don't let the weather stop us from having fun! Then not too long after that Cameron had a day off of school so we decided to go back to the farm and it was a much nicer weather day! Love spending quality time with our babes!
