Simpson's Journey

Cameron's preschool puts on a Daddy's night once a year and the kids sing a couple of songs and they have dinner and get to play.Cameron enjoys this night out with daddy and Daddy has a great time too!

  Isn't he the cutest! Everyone says so!  Michael is 8 months old and he is on the go! Michael is crawling, sitting up on his own, pulling himself to a standing position, and walking using Mommy and Daddy's hands for support! Michael is eating solids 3 times a day, still nurses about 6 times a day, yes he is still waking up at night to nurse.  Michael also had is first cold and now has 5 teeth. His two uppers, two lowers and one more on his left bottom.  I had to take him to the doctor just this past Monday (for congestion and now antibiotics) and he weights 16lbs 2.5 oz at 7% and his length is 27.5 inches at 34%.  We are so proud of his growth and how he is so mobile! Michael will probably give me my first heart attack :) He is all boy and loves to mess with things he is not suppose to, puts everything in his mouth, he loves the dog and the dog food. Michael still takes 2 naps usually around 1.5 to 2 hours and goes to bed around 7:30-7:45 until 7 t...

 Cameron and I love our local library! It has a small play area and we love going there to hang out. Cameron loves playing with the different toys and enjoys building things.  Michael puts everything in his mouth so I have to pay attention so that I can wipe down anything he puts in.

Every parent says this but aren't my kids the cutest! I just love being a mommy to these two precious children! God has truly blessed Joe and I with these amazing kids!

Now that he sits up no more baby bath tub! Michael absolutely loves to sit in the big tub and splash!

My boy loves to eat! Which is so unlike Cameron at this same age! Michael can eat a whole banana and obviously wants to do it all by himself! Michael eats any food as long as we are eating it too! There hasn't been anything he hasn't wanted to try! The only thing right now that it seems like he shouldn't be eating is blueberries. Tummy issues! Michael, if possible, really wants to feed himself.  Sometimes he gets frustrated but for the most part he gets it! Yogurt loaded on a spoon for him is one of his favorites! Any kind of yogurt, kid yogurt, greek, it doesn't matter as long as it isn't blueberry flavored. :)

Our Princess Rapunzel and our little Bee! It was a rainy Halloween for us so we didn't do much! Thankfully it had stopped raining before Trick or Treating and we all went out as a family for a few houses. It started sprinkling after about 4 houses so Michael and I went home and handed out candy while Joe and Cameron finished getting candy. 

We were in the mall not too long ago and we let Cameron go to the play area. Well since Michael is sitting up now I figure why hold a struggling child in my lap when he could play with some of the things he could interact with! Cameron has loved this play area! The mall only got it a couple of years ago but it has been a big hit especially during our long winter here in Illinois.
