Simpson's Journey

Michael is starting to want to be more involved with bath time. Michael will splash a little and want the towel to play with.  He is still not sitting up on his own yet and is very squirmy but we get the job done!

Michael loves to swing, and be outside.  Here are a few pictures of him in our swing.

Our across the street neighbors have a trampoline and Cameron loves playing on it with her friend Aly. These girls have a great time together!

Cameron started preschool right after Labor Day and she is in the 5's class at Sharing Tree.  Cameron is loving going to school and enjoys her teacher and new friends she is making! Cameron schedule is go in hang up book bag, wash hands, practice her name and the word of the day, check to see what job she has, and then it is free play.  Just like last year, her favorite thing to do is play in the dress up room!  We can't wait to see how she learns and grows this year!

 Michael's first road trip and Cameron is a Pro, to North Carolina to visit friends and family was wonderful! First stop was Nashville, TN to see one of our great friends from college Kelly and her amazing family!  Cameron and Gabriella has a slumber party and the next morning all the kids got to play!  Loved seeing the Treillion Family! Maybe next time we will be able to see Keith more than 5 minutes! :) Next up on the trip was Spindale/ Ashville, NC. It was so good seeing Great Nana, Great Papaw, Aunt Cathy, and Uncle Kenny!  We also were able to have lunch with Stacey, Dale and Bryson! Loved being able to see them even for a short time! After that we headed to Laurinburg, NC for Joe's youth group reunion from Stewartsville Baptist Church.  We had a nice time seeing old friends and how we are all married and with children now!  Then onto Shallotte, NC to see Joe's parents and Myrtle Beach to see the Barbour Family!  Michael turned 5 months back on Aug 15th, I know I am really late! Anyway, Michael started rolling over consistently right before he turned 5 months and was teething. Drool was EVERYWHERE! Other than that he still loves to stand and sit both supported. Still loves our dog Flair so    much. Absolutely lights up when he sees             Cameron, and Daddy! Always has a smile     ready for me when he sees me. Michael also went on his first road trip to NC right before he turned 5 months and did an awesome job! Michael was still on a three hour nursing schedule and would wake up 2 to 3 times to nurse at night as well. Can't think of anything else that happened before he turned 5 months, but just wait until the 6th month blog comes out, so much has changed! 

I didn't realize how behind I am in my posts!  We went to the fair at the beginning of August!  They had animals, face painting!  Cameron and I on the Farris Wheel, and then Cameron on her favorite dragon ride. Daddy and Cameron on a spinning dragon ride and Cameron on car ride. We always have a great time together as a family and yes, Michael was with us but  I didn't get any pictures of him this year.
