Simpson's Journey

Cameron has been wanting me to get out this blanket that my grandmother made for me. Cameron will sit on it and bring her toys to it and play on it. She even gets possessive and doesn't want Flair on it at times. Well this day Cameron went and got several books and made herself a little book picnic on the floor. I love her love for books! A side note: I know I have done several collages but they are fun and I like them. Won't be doing every blog like that I promise:)

I don't think I have seen Cameron more focused before this. After a nap one day she was determined to put her animals onto the ottoman and then put her blanket on top. Cameron did this for a good 20-30 minutes. While I sat and watched I thought I better gets some pictures of this. So glad I did, I want to remember these precious moments with Cameron girl!

Cameron is pretty much a momma's girl right now, so when she does things with Dad I take advantage of it and capture it in pictures! Cameron loves books (just like her mom) and here is Daddy reading to her!

It has been really wet outside in the mornings, and the other morning Cameron and I went out to get Joe's paper and she wanted to walk around so I let her and she walked through the grass and onto the pavement. I love seeing her footprints left on the pavement! Her little feet are too cute!

I had to run to the DMV and the store so Joe was at home with Cameron on Friday morning. Well, he needed to shower so he put the gate up at the top of the stairs and let Cameron play. After he finished in the shower he found Cameron like this. That's right she fell asleep and she slept like that on our bedroom floor for about 30 minutes. So precious!

We all had a great time at the park! It has everything that a person can want, we also did the lazy river and went down a water slide a couple of times. Maybe we can do pictures of those next time!

Cameron wakes up from her naps usually happy and playful! This nap time was just like any other but I just couldn't resist taking pictures of my cute girl!

Can you guys see that!!!!!! A big blister from a shock today via our night light! Cameron was playing with it and it was plugged in and stuck a wet q-tip into the top and got shocked! I was right there with her cleaning up some toys and didn't notice her put the q-tip in or would have stopped her,( of course). Didn't even notice the blister until about 10 - 15 minutes later! Cameron is fine and was herself only after about 15 minutes of crying and needing momma! I hope that it heals before we go to the beach!

This is a long blog, not too wordy just a lot of pictures! Friday night we meet up with Joe's family at the hotel we were staying at for four days! We went to dinner at the Backyard Steak Pit, which is a family favorite and got to see some old friends of Joe's parents. We also meet up with our good friends the Patterson's! It was so good seeing that family and wished I remember that I had my camera to take a picture of all of us:( On Saturday the hotel had an indoor pool and we took Cameron for her first pool experience! She absolutely loved it! We bought a float but as you can see from the pictures below we didn't use it long because Cameron couldn't reach the water well while in the float to splash in it! That night we went to TsuKasa for dinner, a Japanese steak house, and Cameron was not pleased and didn't eat well! Cameron cried a lot during the 'show' and needed to be held a lot! But we got through it and was able to take a great family picture. ( ...

Cameron has found a love for using a pencil or marker on paper. Yes, she is pretty good at keeping it on the paper. Joe and I noticed the other day how she was using her right hand....are we seeing that now? When she eats, she still eats with both hands and will 90% of the time when using a utensil will use her left hand...we will just have to see what happens!

Our neighbors the Hamilton's have a pirate ship water table and the kids had a great time playing in it on Sunday. I can't believe that I got both of them to look at me in the above picture:) Kari and I both think that the kids were talking to each other in the above and below picture they are so cute together! Had to get on Cameron for drinking the water which in reality wasn't that bad but she got all choked up and some of the water came out of her nose! Cameron is smiling at Kair. In the pictures below you can see how wet Cameron is! I tried to get a picture of her backside which was somewhat dry! Cameron really like playing in the water, I hope she likes the beach just as much this year!
