Simpson's Journey

Well two months have already passed and Joe and I can't believe it!  Michael has brought so much joy into our lives already and I can't wait to see where God will take him, and us on this journey with raising a boy!  I waited to do this post because we just had our two month appointment yesterday. Michael did well with his vaccination shots but he then had to have his blood drawn from his arm to recheck his thyroid and that didn't go well for him or me!  But we made it though and Michael didn't have a fever or any reaction to the vaccinations! Yay! Michael is smiling and has been since about one month and recognizes all of us. I love his smile! He is also very active and has started cooing when we are talking with him. Michael weighs 11 lbs 4 oz, his length is 22.5 inches and his head circumference is 15.5 inches. Our doctor has no complaints and doesn't need to see him again until our next schedule 4 month appointment. We love you so much Michael and can't wa...

Cameron has finally learned to swing! I couldn't be prouder of my little girl! I have to start her off but she can keep herself going forever :). And a very short video!

I couldn't be more blessed than I am to be the mother of these two sweet kids! I am honored that God choose me as their mom.  I had a wonderful Mother's day!  We, as a family, went out to breakfast and then had a wonderful afternoon at home complete with a nap!  Joe grilled out burgers for dinner and it was nice not having to cook at all.  Joe and the kids got me the Open Hearts Collection Mom pendant for my Mother's day gift.  Cameron also made me this coaster for Mother's day from preschool! I love my family and children very much and I am so blessed!

Cameron's preschool put on a Mother's Day program and I was thrilled! I was so glad to watch Cameron sing and then hang out with her afterwards. The preschool had refreshments and different creative stations setup for after the singing portion of the program.

This was a particularly nice spring day and so we walked to our neighborhood park. This climbing contraption is something that Cameron has been timid with, but not this time! Oh, and Michael enjoyed it too :)
