Standing up??!!!

Cameron girl has learned to stand up....ok let me back track a little she has been standing for a while with help from Mommy or Daddy. Cameron will reach for our hands and pull herself up to a standing position but she has never been strong enough to do so with furniture. Well, yesterday I went to check on her during a nap time and she was standing up in her crib!! I am sorry to say that I didn't get a picture of it by the time I ran downstairs, told Joe, and back up the stairs she was sitting in her bed playing. I am hoping to get a picture of that soon! Now all Cameron wants to do is stand! Cameron tried to pull herself up today using our coffee table but she couldn't get a good enough grip because of her height.

Cameron is in the big tub now for baths because she was starting to try and stand up in her infant tub...pictures to come, and we are getting things ready for our Thanksgiving trip to NC to visit Joe's grandparents/family in Spindale, NC and my parents/family in Winston-Salem, NC. WE are very excited about seeing family during this trip none of them have seen Cameron, besides in pictures, since June/July this past summer! It's been too long and Cameron has grown and changed so much since then.

No pictures this time, I promise to do some pics of her in the big tub soon!

Get prepared for your back to ache from bending over all the time while you're holding their hands. Soon all she's going to want to do is walk while she's holding on to your fingers. It's so exciting watching them discover and grow.

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
