Michael is 4 months old!

I have said this every time but we truly can't believe that Michael is already 4 months old! Michael is growing like a weed! At his 4 month doctor appointment Michael was 13lbs and 24in long. Michael is still on a 3 hour eating schedule with 8 feedings in a 24 hour period. Even though we have seen some improvement with going longer at night just this week! Thankfully Michael is only waking to eat and then goes right back to sleep. Michael is still taking 4 naps a day and follows the eat, wake, sleep pattern. He loves "talking" and playing with his feet. Michael also enjoys watching us eat and if we let him would probably be eating solids by now. His smile is infectious and his giggles are adorable! Michael likes to suck his thumb but uses a pacifier briefly for naps and bed. Michael smiles at all of us and loves to grab a hold of Flair! Michael is also strong! He likes to stand and sit up with support. While he is standing he also tries to move is legs like walking. Michael is such a joy to have and we are so blessed to be his family! We can't wait to see his continual growth and learning!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
