Simpson's Journey

One day last week we met up with our good friends Meredith and Benjamin to play at McDonald's and have lunch.  Cameron and Benjamin loved having the play land to themselves for the first 40 min we were there! Here are some good pictures I got of them with my phone. Love seeing smiles on the faces of the little ones!  We always have a fun time with Meredith and Benjamin!

It has been strange here in Illinois with us having really warm weather at the beginning of March but yet we did.  So we invited some our friends over to play outside. I made a batch of the sidewalk paint and let Cameron and Katie have at it! They played well together while Summer and I sat in the shade of the trees and watched baby Sarah! So nice to have friends over!

Most weeks Cameron and I attend a mom's group on Wednesday mornings called Mom 2 Mom and I really enjoy it.  While I am having mommy/adult time Cameron is in the child care called Lamb 2 Lamb.  Cameron loves going and will even ask to go when it is not a Wednesday.  I was finally able to get a few pictures of playing in Lamb 2 Lamb this past week because it was my care circles turn to help out with the littles.    So thankful for Mom 2 Mom and Lamb 2 Lamb!

 So the new craze is Pinterest, and I am one of the thousands maybe millions of people who was sucked in and loves looking at all the different crafts and other ideas that others have posted.  Well, I found this side walk paint DYI and had to try it.  So I went to the store bought corn starch (I don't keep that on hand) and made a batch. Cameron loved helping me mix the colors in. She had so much fun painting the driveway! It was a warmer day for us in February so we couldn't resist on being outside. Look at our creations!  Yes, I get right on the ground and paint with her!  It wasn't too messy and whatever she did get on her paints came right off in the wash.  Isn't she adorable even when there is grape jelly all over her face?  On Saturday mornings we always have scrambled eggs and toast. Cameron is just now starting to eat scrambled eggs with ketchup.  Yes, I said ketchup, that is how I eat my scrambled eggs :)  Anyway, Cameron normally only eats jelly toast and it she always looks like this afterwards but this is the first time I had taken any pictures.

 Cameron decided that she was going to start taking everything out of the cabinets while I was cleaning one night. Thankfully she didn't take everything out but enough to spread across my kitchen floor.  Just look at that cute face!  Cameron was pretending to make dinner for her toys! Love that she is pretending so well!
