Crazy Illinois Weather!

It snowed on the 3rd of this month and Cameron and I were excited because this was the first measurable snow, only 1/2 inch, this winter season!

And as you can see from the pictures already melting because of the 40 degree weather we had right after it snowed. People tease up here because we haven't had a particularly snowy winter yet. Also, the temps have not been average like on this day were it was 50 and Cameron and I were able to play outside in Janurary!



My big girl who couldn't reach these black rings back in October can now on her tip toes do it!
And then a few more days later we get about 3-5 inches of snow!




Later on that afternoon I needed to shovel so I let Cameron and the two children I keep after school play in the snow for a bit!


And then the temp went up to about 40 again and it was really sunny and now the snow is gone again! Oh well we hope we get lots more to play in!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
