Family Time in Gurnee, IL

 Joe's parents decided to come up to IL to spend some time with us kids and grand-kids.  Almost always the first stop when we all come up here is to the Backyard Steak Pit.  A wonderful restaurant that we know the owners and lots of regulars as well.  Michael decided not to take a good nap this day and wasn't feeling well so he fell asleep on me right before dinner.






 The next day while we were hanging out in the hotel I let the kids run the halls.  They had a blast running up and down the hall together while the rest of the family was watching the Carolina football games.
 Again, Michael couldn't stay awake any longer and fell asleep while holding his toy.  I was able to pick him up and put him into his pack-n-play for him to finish his nap.

 At the Japanese steak house Tsu Kasa. Both kids love the food and Michael especially loved the soup!


 The final restaurant we went to was Wild Fire and as soon as Christy and Matt got to the restaurant Michael went straight to Matt. It was so sweet!






The whole family as it stands now! Love that we can spend a weekend together like this and we always have a great time!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
