Happy Halloween!

Image
Halloween started a couple of days early this year with Cameron's Great Nana giving her a Halloween bucket filled with goodies! Now onto Halloween night.  Cameron was Cinderella this year and I thought she looked BEAUTIFUL!  We got the costume and tiara for $16! Then out to go Trick or Treating!  Cameron getting candy from Ms. Kelly our neighbor directly across from us.  We ran into some of our neighborhood friends! Payten and Cameron Cameron and James Sarah and Cameron The tiara didn't make it past the first house but that was okay.  Cameron had a good time getting her candy and Joe and I both thought it was a successful first trick or treating!

Sugar Grove Nature Center

Image
It was a cooler day when we went to Sugar Grove but it was the warmest day of that week! It is a neat place where there are tons of walking trials, an exploration area for children, and other nature things to explore. Cameron and I only did the play area for the kids because it was a cool day and I knew that Cameron wouldn't walk a long time on a trail. We had to walk across this covered bridge to go to the play/exploration area. They had a tree house, a clubhouse, and tons of dirt to dig and play in.  Cameron really loved playing in the dirt! There was also this big semi hollowed out tree trunk that Cameron could stand in. Cameron could have stayed and played in the dirt for a long time but alas it was time to go. This was a rocking chair and it didn't rock very well but Cameron liked trying! I will bring Cameron back in the spring when it will be warmer and maybe some other people will be there besides just Cameron and I :)

Cameron 33 months

Image
Not too much to post about for this but wanted to just put up some other pictures that I have taken that don't go with anything else.  Can't believe, as I said in the 32 month blog, that she will be 3 years old in several more months! Cameron is growing up way too fast.  Some quick stats, she is 25 lbs and grew a half an inch since last month.  Cameron is learning lots in her Sunday school class and has memorized two verse and working on a third. We are so proud of our girl! Here are three things that Cameron absolutely loves (besides Mommy and Daddy:) ) Watching the iTouch Hanging out with Audra Playing in her bubble bath Love you Cameron!

Pumpkin Carving

Image
We decided this year that we were going to start carving a pumpkin for Halloween. Joe and I both remember our parents doing this when we were kids and we thought that this would be a fun family thing to do together. Cameron was able to draw on her small pumpkin while I started on getting the top off of the pumpkin we were going to carve. Cameron trying to help get the 'lid' off. Once we got the lid off.... time to start taking the seeds and stuff out. Cameron told me that it was eww and slimy and wouldn't touch it but a couple of times with her hand.  She didn't mind using the utensil but soon didn't want to do it at all. Then dad comes in and does the outline of our face and carves the pumpkin.  Cameron thought it was neat! And now the final product.....  We won't be lightening it again until Halloween night, but thought it looked pretty good for our first carved pumpkin!

Leaves

That's right she is in a short sleeved shirt and skort!  It was in the 80's all last week when I took these pictures. Leaves are so much fun!

Raders Farm

On a nice day in September, I know this blog is late, Cameron and I went to Rader's Farm with our neighbors and good friends Andi and Sarah. The kids, Cameron and Sarah, had a blast playing there! Sarah wasn't excited about the pillow but Cameron absolutely loved jumping on the "trampoline"! Love the pigtails flying! After Cameron and I were on the pillow we went to play with Sarah on the hay stacks. Jumping into the hay!   Next, they had a play area with store, post office and a house. Then off to play in the silo filled with corn kernals. Cameron wanted to do the pillow one more time. Then one last thing a little ride that Cameron was fine on until she couldn't see me anymore and they stopped the ride so I could get her off :(  Maybe next year! We had a fabulous time and have gone back several times since.  We will be doing this again next Fall!
