Simpson's Journey

I know you are finally getting to see some stuff from when we were in NC, I am trying to catch up! So here we all are waiting at our gate at Chicago O'Hare Airport. It was fun flying with the aunties! Cameron trying to get comfortable to take a nap on the plane, but the poor thing just couldn't do it! Finally at Grandma and Gramp's place.  Cameron was wonderful on the plane and crashed on the car ride from the Wilmington Airport to Shallotte. Cameron loved sleeping on the air mattress!

We were stuck inside for several days because of weather and because Cameron had a cold. So I decided to make her a little fort and Cameron absolutely enjoyed playing in it! I just have two pictures of her, but she played in it for long periods of time. We had a lot of fun!

Flair loves to lay in the sun. Our guest room provides such an opportunity for him in the mornings. This particular morning Cameron was being really sweet with Flair, something she doesn't always do, and wanted to be with him on the bed. Of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a couple of pictures to capture the moment!

Our mall is becoming spiffy! We finally got a play area, mind you it is for toddlers not really for kids older than 5 or 6, and a train that goes around most of the mall. It cost $3, even for the parents, but worth it for Cameron who absolutely loved it! Cameron had a great time but we won't be doing that too often because I don't always have money on me:)

Cameron loves to go to the library. We go every Thursday for story time and afterward I try to make sure we have nothing else planned but to hang out at the library until lunch.  Cameron loves to play with the toys, color, look at the huge display of the nursery rhyme "The Old Woman who lived in a Shoe"(it is a big boot with different levels and with a yard), and look at books. Soon I will bring my camera and take pictures of the actual story time but for this post I took several pictures of Cameron sitting on the floor between two shelves reading books! Cameron does this every time we go to the library and we go weekly!  Love her love for books!

SHOCKER I AM BACK! I am sorry I have been a way for so long, I am back and have a lot of blogs coming out.  To be honest there hasn't been much going on until December, we do a lot of the same things all the time so I don't think to take pictures, or I don't have my camera on me so I don't get to take pictures.  Well wait no longer, blogs to come forth! For now I leave you with some pictures of the small amount of snow we got the other day and Cameron walking around in it!  Cameron was so happy that it snowed and it was so cold but I decided to let her go out and walk in it, because really you can't play in 1/2 inch of snow!

I know I know, it has been a while since my last post but things seem to be hectic and honestly I just haven't made time for blogging. But here I am know posting about an event Cameron and I went to back at the beginning of November.  After this post, I will try to get the pictures off of my phone ( can't figure it out right now) and then I will have a couple more post before Christmas :) Cameron and I went and saw Sesame Street Live Elmo Makes Music, and it couldn't have been more fun for Cameron!  She absolutely loved it! Cameron and I before the show My excited little girl! So Bert and Ernie came out and introduced the letter and number for the evening, and then the other characters came out.  There was a lot of singing and dancing and Cameron participated as much as possible! They had an intermission and during that time we had our potty break and got a small Elmo doll that hasn't left her side much since. :) ...
