Joseph Michael Simpson III March 15, 2013 @ 3:50 PM 9lbs 5oz; 20inches Here is his arrival to this world..... That was a Friday and I got up like I normally do, got ready for the day got Cameron ready, and Joe up. I was exactly 39 weeks!  At 7:30am I started leaking and I thought that it was just because Michael was pushing on my bladder.  So Joe and I took Cameron to preschool and went to breakfast. After we ate we decided to call my doctor and left a message just to make sure things were alright. Joe and I then went to get Joe some new sneakers I decided to sit in the car and wait for Joe since I wasn't feeling to well. During the 30 minutes Joe was in the store I had 4 contractions but they were random.  We left the store and was going to get gas when my doctors office called me back and told me to come in just to make sure it wasn't my water. Joe and I happen to be right at my doctors office so we went in. 30 minutes later, with Joe gone to pick up Came...

We received several inches of snow late in February and Cameron with the next door neighbor girls had a blast playing in it together!  I love Cameron's love for snow!

Disney On Ice

Image
For Cameron's birthday this year we decided to not do a party but to take her to see Disney on Ice "Rockin' Ever After".  The Aunties came with us too since it was in Chicago so we made a weekend out of it.  I was truly impressed with the show and how Disney condensed 4 movies into one 2 hour show!  We saw three of Cameron's favorite princess, Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Rapunzel (Tangled), and Belle (Beauty and the Beast) , along with Mereda (Brave).  What a fun time and it was fun watching Cameron's reaction to the skits.

Cameron's 4th Birthday!

Image
We can't believe that we have a 4 year old!  It has been an amazing journey so far and can't wait to see what will come of the next year of Cameron's life!  Cameron is such a blessing to us!  Cameron really loves her princesses, drawing, painting, dress up, and doing lots of pretending!  At Cameron's annual doctor appointment she weights 29.7 pounds and is 40 inches or 3ft 4in tall!  Cameron has gone up on the scale to 9% for weight and 60% for height!  Still such a petite little girl! For her birthday this year we decided to not do a party, but we did bring cupcakes to her preschool.  We will be taking her to see Disney On Ice: Rockin' Ever After on the 26th in Chicago for her birthday present from Mommy and Daddy.  I will post pictures of that once that happens. For her birthday we let her decided where to go for dinner and tradition in our family and, of course, she wanted to go the "Fire Place" or Japanese steakhouse. Sh...

Getting Creative

Image
One of Cameron's Christmas presents was a double sided easel. Cameron loves that one side is magnetic and it came with numbers and letters. That same side is also a dry erase board. The other side is a chalk board, and both sides have a large clip to hold paper. So I bought some paper and finger paints from the Dollar store and Cameron loved painting! Love seeing her creative side come through!
