19 months

You can find Cameron with a book a lot these days. She just loves to look at them, read them and be read to. Cameron is always coming up to us with a book and signing please for us to read them to her. Cameron also has found a love for pillows. Although she doesn't have a pillow for sleeping yet she loves to put them on her legs and snuggle with them when near them. So I took the picture above because a) it was her 19 month b-day.....b) she is snuggled up with the pillows....c) she has a book ..and d) she has her blankie! All of the things she is into at this time!

We got our first ear infection not too long ago and boy I would have never know anything was wrong except that she was feeling really warm and snotty, she would play sleep and sometimes eat well. Well after having several days of her temp going up and down I finally took her to the dr and sure enough she had an ear infection in her right ear. We got the antibiotics in her via yogurt and the temp went away within in a couple of days as did the snotty nose. However, those were replaced with diarrhea and a bad diaper rash (because of the med) So thankful that my baby girl is alright. Since we were at the doctors he took her weight and she was 19 lbs 12 1/2 oz which was a little bit more than the 18 month visit. We are giving her pediasure and we believe that it is helping with the weight and we are also trying to get more fatty foods in her as well. But as most of you know you can't make a kid eat!

She is still not saying too many actual words, there are times where daddy and mom come out and I swear she said tickle not too long ago :) She does sign around 8 words and follows directions as well as a 19 month will.

WE go back to the dr on Sept 1 to see if the infection has cleared and I am assuming another weight check will be done. Here's to hoping our girl will be over 20 lbs!
