Chicagoland Fun!

We had decided back in February to celebrate Michael's birthday at the end of March with the aunties, so that was at the end of Cameron's spring break and we took an extra day to go up to the Gurnee area and do some shopping at the outlet mall.  It was nice to go up on Friday do some shopping at Gurnee Mills just the four of us!

Of course, after the shopping the kids got to play at the play area!








 
So many kids I only took a couple of pictures because I had to pay close attention to Michael.  It was a really neat play area and all the play things was the Chicago Skyline! 

On Saturday we went to the Shedd Aquarium with Aunt Christy and Becky and had a wonderful time.  We were able to see a 4D show, which Michael got scared, a water show and lots and lots of water creatures!












The Shedd had a nice play area were the penguins were and Michael had a great time there and Cameron did too!




It was a great time with seeing the animals and being with the Aunties! We just love spending time together as a family and look forward to more of that as the times goes on!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
