Aruba 2015

We were able to go to Aruba again this year (last time almost exactly 2 years to the day) for Joe's dad's 60th birthday! It was a lot of fun and while I don't have a ton of pictures, due to us creating memories instead, I did capture some of our wonderful time there!

In O'Hare Airport, Joe and I didn't know until this trip that it had a children's play area, and we loved it!  There was so much to see and do!




On our two day trip the kids were amazing and loved flying!

 One of the nights we went out to dinner.  Our hotel was located in such a great spot we could walk everywhere we wanted to go.




Aruba has a wonderful Butterfly Farm with so many different butterfly species.  Our little family walked there from our hotel and really enjoyed seeing the life cycle of the butterfly and learning about its habitat. We also were able to see some moths.

Joe and I got to have some time just the two of us on my birthday.  It was fun being in a tropical place on my birthday, probably won't happen again for a while :)

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
