Spring Break Trip to North Carolina

We were able to go to North Carolina during Cameron's spring break and it was wonderful being 'HOME' and seeing family! It also was nice to be able to actually be with my sister preparing for her wedding!


First stop at Great Nana and Great Papaw

Then onto Winston-Salem to spend time with the Lefevre's. A trip to the mall where the kids got to ride a train! A beautiful day at the park with Emo Kim even though I didn't get a single picture with her.


Finally our last stop to Shallotte where the Simpson's grandparents are.
Michael loves the big fish tank at the Mellow Mushroom in North Myrtle Beach.

A walk around Grandma and Gramps neighborhood had trees with faces on them.







Finally the kids having fun playing with play doh!
We had such a fun trip!  We love our time in North Carolina!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
