Game time with Daddy

Image
Cameron loves to watch Joe play his video games especially the football ones. Here are a couple of pictures of her with her own remote control playing with daddy! I love this last picture! She doesn't sit still for very long nor does she actually watch it for a long time but she could be playing in another room and if Joe pauses the game for any reason she will come running into the living room and sign more!

You can find Cameron with a book a lot these days. She just loves to look at them, read them and be read to. Cameron is always coming up to us with a book and signing please for us to read them to her. Cameron also has found a love for pillows. Although she doesn't have a pillow for sleeping yet she loves to put them on her legs and snuggle with them when near them. So I took the picture above because a) it was her 19 month b-day.....b) she is snuggled up with the pillows....c) she has a book ..and d) she has her blankie! All of the things she is into at this time! We got our first ear infection not too long ago and boy I would have never know anything was wrong except that she was feeling really warm and snotty, she would play sleep and sometimes eat well. Well after having several days of her temp going up and down I finally took her to the dr and sure enough she had an ear infection in her right ear. We got the antibiotics in her via yogurt and the temp went away within ...

Cameron and baskets

While I was fixing clothes the other day and the next thing I knew Cameron was sitting in the clothes basket with her favorite book right now! Priceless!

My Helper

Image
Cameron just loves to help out whenever and where ever she can. The other day I was using the Vac Swifter on the hardwoods and Cameron wanted to help and we got Daddy to take a few pictures of her helping mommy. My sweet little helper! She loves the vacuum and the dust buster and will willingly help with both!

Library

Last week Ronald McDonald came to our library and I decided to see how Cameron girl would do. We invited our friends Ms. Kari and Connor and the kids did pretty well! The 'show' was a little long and we didn't even stay for the whole thing because Cameron and Connor were getting antsy. Kari and I both thought that it was definitely for older kids (4 and up), even though the kids did well. So we left early and went up to the children section of the library and let the kids play for a bit. I took a some shots of them playing together. They have these big pillows of different animals and insects. This day they had out a snail and a turtle I think. Connor and Cameron liked playing on the pillows!

18 Months

It is hard to believe that Cameron is already 18 months old! It is also hard to believe that it is almost August! Cameron is growing and learning so much. We had her 18 month Dr. appointment yesterday and the her doctor is still concerned about her weight. Cameron weighs 19 1/2 lbs and is 30 inches long. Cameron is still below the 3% line on the charts. Joe and I are doing what we can to make her eat but we can't force the food down her throat. Joe and I both believe that she is healthy and that she just has a pretty high metabolism. Joe and I were both small as children so we are not quiet as concerned yet. We go back at the beginning of October to have a weight check done on her. Also, the doctor is concerned with her speech development. He mentioned doing early intervention with Cameron. Cameron is still not talking, she doesn't even say mama or dada. Cameron does however, babble a lot! And she talks to her toys and other such things like the phone. Cameron understand...
