Dr. Appt. and our Rollie Pollie

Cameron had her 6 month appointment today. Cameron hasn't grown too much but the doctor seems satisfied with her progress. Cameron is currently 25 inches long, weights 13lbs 11oz, and her head circumference is 15 1/2 inches. At 4 months she was 24 in long, weighed 12lb 10oz and her head was 15 in; but hey, at least she is growing right? We talked about us starting her on solids and our doctor said that it would be alright to go ahead with veggies due to her age. The only thing that I forgot to ask is if and when we can start water and or juice. Cameron also received three shots today and was a champ, she cried very little and as soon as the shots were over with and I picked her up she was finished crying! My brave little girl.

Now onto our Rollie Pollie! I did a blog the other day about her rolling over from her tummy to her back, which she started on July 9th. Well I left her on the floor on her back and went to let Flair out, to get something to drink, and get her a teething ring; and when I came back I found her in this position.

I thought to myself did I leave you on your tummy? So I put her on back and put the ring a little farther away and she did it! Cameron rolled over from her back to her tummy! (July 23rd) Joe and I are so proud of her! Since she started rolling from her back to her tummy she now just continues to roll all around the living room! It is so cute to see her rolling, I guess when I was questioning the crawling in the other blog maybe it is not a loss cause! Here is a couple of short videos of her rolling, enjoy! Oh and one more note she actually turned over from back to tummy one time while at my parents house on vacation, however, Joe and I were busy packing to see it.

Yay! Rolling was Hannah's preferred method of moving for a long time....and it was cute:)
Word to the wise about juice: we started Rebecca out on just water and she didn't drink juice until she was 18 months old and still to this day doesn't drink much juice. Then I made the mistake of giving the other three juice way younger (prob. between 6-8 months) and I have had a HARD time getting them to drink plain water. I guess it's not too bad since I dilute it WAY down (prob 3/4 water 1/4 juice) but still water is better for them and fresh fruit is a much better source of fruit than juice.
Anyway, just thought I'd tell you that:)

Some of us are just a little smaller than others...we're all individuals!

Hayden doesn't really care for juice, we've tried it a few times to get working on the sippy cup and he responds to just plain water better.
