Fall Fun Weekend

I started the drive to Asheville, NC on Thursday afternoon. I went to Nashville, TN to visit with one of my besties Kelly and her family! Thanks for making dinner Keith and thanks Kelly for letting me crash there. So sad that you couldn't come with me to Asheville, but hopefully next year!



On Friday I finished the drive to Asheville. We had Chili's for dinner and then went back to Laura's parent's place played a trivia game about us, and just caught up laughing and having a great time together!
On Saturday we went to the farmers market and that was the first time that I have ever been to one! They had these huge pumpkins there!
and lots of apples! Didn't even know there were so many different kinds!

Then we drove up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped at this view point.

Next, we found a hiking trail and these flowers were all along the trail.



After the hike we had lunch and then went to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. I don't have any pictures from there but it was really nice and pretty to be outside all day. We all had a fabulous time and I can't wait to be back with those girls again! Thanks for a great time Heather, Laura, Anne, Karen and Adele!

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
