Our Trip to NC for Christmas!

Becky slept more than Cameron girl! : )
Cameron played with these magnetic letters and numbers forever! And Auntie Christy played on her phone a lot!

Joe drove the whole way!

We left at 6:15 am Central time on Wednesday before Christmas and arrived in Greensboro around 8:00 pm Eastern time that night. We dropped off the girls with Mom and Dad Simpson and continued on to Stacey and Dale's house to spend the night and drop off Flairbear. We arrived at my parents house Thursday morning and hung out for the rest of the day. On Friday, we went and saw my grandmother and visited with her for a little bit and then back home to hang some more. Saturday, Christmas was so nice! Cameron loved opening her gifts!

Cameron's Emo Kim gave her this really big dog and that is what Cameron is laying on with her Elmo!

Then around 11 am it started snowing and it didn't stop until Sunday morning! My parents place in Winston-Salem got around 6 inches of snow on CHRISTMAS! Too bad Cameron had the sniffles or we would have taken her out to play in it!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
