Cameron 23 months and then some

Ok, I am a little bit behind on doing a 23 month post for Cameron, alright a lot behind....but Christmas was in there then New Years and we were out of town!

So Cameron turned 23 months back on Dec 20th, and as I am writing this blog she will be 2 years old in just two weeks!!!!! CAN'T BELIEVE THAT! So I won't be doing much info in this blog because of how close it is to her birthday and the fact that we go to the doctor the day after her birthday and I can give you her stats!

Got the piggy bank for Christmas and is still loving it!




Not sure what you called this toy got it for free and Cameron absolutely loves it! She plays with it daily! I am just glad that she likes it so much!

Just a couple of things she is finally saying Dada consistently and not signing it as much any more. Cameron has pretty much stopped signing mom and just says it a lot! She also learned this past month Nana, Banana, Please (esss)and Christy! Cameron is trying very hard to say words when we ask her too. She also has learned the letter 'O'. Cameron will pick it out of books and in her letter puzzle. Can't wait to see what other new things our sweet, precious girl will learn next!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
