5 Months Old





Time sure does fly! Cameron turned 5 months old on Saturday (6-20). Our sweet girl is getting bigger by the day. Cameron recognizes Joe and I not only by face but by voice and she will look to find us if she hears us. Cameron is also grasping things with both hands and starting to pull things toward her. She can turn on her side but has not mastered turning over yet either from tummy to back or back to tummy. When Cameron does have tummy time, she is kicking her legs almost constantly and even today got her butt up in the air. Cameron is also starting to take an interest in what Joe and I eat and drink, too soon we will be starting solids. Her laughter is contagious and her smile is gorgeous. We are feeding every 4 hours with our last feeding at 10:30 at night. Cameron is in bed by 8 and sleeps until 7 am. Her naps are not consistent but we are working on that.

Cameron is such a blessing to us! Keep growing and learning my bug a boo! We love you Cameron!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
