8 months old
Cameron Nicole Simpson turned 8 months old on Sunday! It is truly amazing to watch her grow. Joe and I can't believe that it has been 8 months since she was born, and she is ever growing and changing! We love our precious Cameron girl and can't wait to see how she will grow into a woman of God!
How is Cameron doing?....
Feedings - Cameron is nursing 4 times during the day, and eating solids 3 times a day. Cameron eats rice cereal, oatmeal, peas, sweet potatoes, green beans (if mixed), bananas, apples, and peaches. Her favorites seem to be peas and apples. We start pears today followed by squash.
Movement - still rolling everywhere, can sit but can't get to a sitting position on her own, loves to stand and 'walk' but can't pull herself up, and not crawling yet but we hope she will accomplish that soon.
Sleep - most days she takes 2 naps and sometimes 3, she is working on dropping that third nap, and she sleeps at night from 8 to around 6:30-7:00 in the morning.
Talking - still babbling no words yet.
Things she dislikes - the grass, and eating green beans by themselves.
Things she likes - going outside, messing with Flair, playing with Mommy and Daddy, and putting everything in her mouth.
Favorite toys - her turtle with a mirror, octopus, any of her toys that plays music, or squeaks.
Teeth - we now have five teeth, her two front lowers (since 4 mo), her front two uppers and one more lower on the left side.
Cameron gets frustrated when she is laying down and wants to sit up but can't figure it out yet, and she reaches for our hands when she wants to sit up or stand.
