Here comes Cameron!

So I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday (1-13) and my blood pressure was still high for my doctor. My doctor told me that she wanted to do one more sono to see how the baby was doing and was going to set up a time for next week to be induced. Cameron is a healthy 6 lbs 12 oz right now and is head down. I have another appointment on Friday to check blood pressure and to have questions that Joe and I have be answered about our induction. Then on Monday night, just after midnight, Joe and I will be going to the hospital to start the process of having our little girl! We are excited, nervous, and unsure about what is going to happen. We have been waiting for this moment for so long, and as most of you know, we have gone through a lot to even get this far. Our God is amazing and we are so blessed to have Cameron come into our lives! I will do one more post before she is here to give you an update of Friday's appointment and let everyone know how things are going to run for our induction. I ask that those of you who want to; pray for a great delivery and for my strength to endure the contractions (most of you know I don't want any medication). Also, pray for our focus to be on God because He will be the one to get us through this.

Yay! I saw the title and I thought she was on her way now... :o) So excited for you both, I know you're going to be awesome parents!

Fall Vacation

Today Joe and Todd went to Fogcutter and watched the Bears game while Kim and I went shopping. We meet up with the boys and went to dinner at On the Border, a great Mexican restaurant, and then back to downtown Chicago to go see the Blue Man Group. We had a fun time there at Briar Street Theater and the show was very entertaining. At the end of the show they had everyone pass tons of streamers from the back of the theater to the front and through all of the paper I briefly lost my engagement ring. Luckily a girl found it who was sitting right behind me! I thanked her a million times and thanked God for letting us get the ring back. After wards the Blue Men we out in the lobby and we were able to take pictures with them! What an enjoyable night!

15 months

Joe and I can't believe that we have a 15 month old on our hands! Cameron girl is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little person. She is very loving to us and is willing to go to our neighbors at any point and time. Cameron loves playing outside, going for walks, and playing with her friend Connor. She is still into books and will willing sit with them by herself or brings them to me for me to read to her. Cameron lights up when Joe gets home from work and will sign/ask for Daddy often through out the day. Cameron has become more attached to her blanket everyday. Cameron will rarely get out of her crib these days without clinging to her blanket. She doesn't need to take it with her when going places, she just likes having it with her right after a wake up time be it in the morning or after naps. At Cameron's doctor appointment she only weights 17 lbs, she only gained 8 oz in three months. The doctor wanted to do a urine sample to check for urinary track infection ...
